Catrina Spicer is an experienced member of the psychology outpatient department at Lindner Center of HOPE. She provides outpatient therapy for young adults, adults and advanced age adults with anxiety and mood disorders utilizing evidence based practices based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and solution and strength based techniques. Additionally, she provides behavioral health treatment in the areas of relationship counseling, is part of the outpatient eating disorder treatment team and has an interest in grief and women’s services.

Prior to joining Lindner Center of HOPE, Ms. Spicer worked in the behavioral health department at a large primary care physician practice, providing brief, solution-focused interventions that are problem-specific and focused on improving self-management skills and functioning. The skills were based on DBT and ACT interventions, with built-in measurements to assess patient outcomes. Additionally, Ms Spicer worked in a Corporate Health division within a large health care system, providing individual, couples and family counseling for adolescents, adults and the elderly. Ms. Spicer has considerable training and professional experience working with many psychiatric disorders including mood disorders, eating disorders, and anxiety disorders. She has dedicated many years to working in areas such as Women’s medical and behavioral health services and serving and supporting the bereaved.
