Tiara Smith serves as an individual Outpatient Telehealth Therapist at the Lindner Center of HOPE. She treats late teens and adults of all ages, genders, and sexual orientations. Her therapeutic approach is humanistic, warm, genuine, humorous, and engaging. She enjoys creating a safe, nonjudgmental, virtual therapy space to meet her clients wherever they are at in their journey in order to support them as they work through systemic issues and stressors that are interfering with clients being able to show up as their most authentic self.
Prior to earning a master’s degree in Couples and Family Therapy from The University of Nevada Las Vegas, Tiara earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and taught students ranging from 6th-8th grade social emotional skills. She continued to work within the school system as she completed her master’s program. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings and in all levels of care (School settings from grades K-12, PHP, IOP, addiction treatment centers, and outpatient) in Southwest Ohio and Las Vegas, Nevada.
She has expertise in addictions, consensual nonmonogamy, and trauma. She incorporates EMDR, Hypnotherapy, EFT, DBT, and ACT into her mind-body, and holistic therapeutic approach. As a lifetime learner, her areas of interest are expansive and ever-growing. They include, but are not limited to, serving the LGBTQ+ community, adult ADHD, polyamory, kink, and body image.
