1. Overview

These Terms apply to voluntary communications between Lindner Center of Hope and alumni, parents, guardians, family members, and other authorized individuals who choose to remain connected with Lindner Center of Hope following program completion.

Participation is entirely voluntary. Consent to receive text messages or emails is not required to receive, continue, or complete treatment, services, or any other transaction with Lindner Center of Hope.

By opting in to receive communications, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms.

2. How We Communicate

Lindner Center of Hope may communicate with alumni and families through individualized text messages and emails. These communications are occasional, relationship-based messages sent by Lindner Center of Hope staff using Lindner Center of Hope’s communication platforms.

3. How to Opt In

Individuals may opt in by completing the Lindner Center of Hope & Sibcy House Alumni Program form and providing the requested contact information.

4. Types of Communications

Communications may include:

• Alumni program updates and announcements
• Family support resources and educational information
• Invitations to webinars, workshops, support groups, events, and alumni gatherings
• Surveys and requests for feedback
• Information about Lindner Center of Hope programs or resources that may be helpful to individuals and families following discharge
• Requests to share Lindner Center of Hope’s publicly available information with individuals or families who may benefit from its programs or services

Lindner Center of Hope does not offer compensation, gifts, rewards, or other incentives in exchange for referrals.

Lindner Center of Hope does not send confidential health information through text messages.

5. Text Messaging

By opting in, you agree to receive recurring text messages from Lindner Center of Hope. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.

You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. After you reply STOP, you will receive one confirmation message and will not receive additional text messages unless you opt in again.

To resume receiving text messages after opting out, reply START to the same Lindner Center of Hope phone number.

6. Email Communications

You may unsubscribe from email communications at any time by:

Unsubscribing from email communications does not automatically unsubscribe you from text messages, and opting out of text messages does not automatically unsubscribe you from email communications.

7. Not for Emergencies

These communications are intended for informational, alumni engagement, family engagement, and community purposes only.

Text messages and emails are not continuously monitored and should not be used for clinical questions, urgent concerns, or emergencies.

If you or a family member is experiencing a mental health crisis, call 911, contact 988, or seek immediate emergency assistance.

8. Privacy

Lindner Center of Hope does not sell, rent, purchase, share, or transfer mobile opt-in information or text messaging consent to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Lindner Center of Hope does not purchase or accept third-party messaging consent. Each recipient must provide consent directly to Lindner Center of Hope.

9. Eligibility

You must be the account holder or an authorized user of the mobile number or email address you provide.

By opting in, you confirm that you have the authority to consent to communications sent to the phone number or email address provided.
