Research Leader Recognized

The University of Cincinnati has recognized Francisco Romo-Nava, MD, PhD, as a Top Sponsored Award Recipient for Fiscal Year 2025, marking a significant milestone for both Dr. Romo-Nava and the Lindner Center of HOPE. To the best of the institution’s knowledge, this is the first year Dr. Romo-Nava has been included on this distinguished list, which honors faculty members for excellence in securing sponsored research support.

Dr. Romo-Nava serves as Associate Chief Research Officer at Lindner Center of Hope and Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. This recognition reflects his ongoing contributions to advancing psychiatric research and strengthening academic–clinical partnerships that drive innovation in mental health care.

A reception planned to honor this year’s recipients was unfortunately cancelled due to inclement weather. Nonetheless, the recognition underscores the University of Cincinnati’s commitment to research excellence and highlights Dr. Romo-Nava’s leadership in advancing impactful, sponsored research initiatives.
