Kristina serves as an outpatient therapist at the Lindner Center of Hope. She attends to adult patients working with individuals, couples, and families.
Prior to entering graduate school, she double majored, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Sociology from The College of Mount Saint Joseph. Kristina went on to acquire her master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Cincinnati. Kristina’s social work concentration track was in mental health.
Kristina spent most of her 25-year career, specifically in mental health counseling. Working for nearly all her career, as a clinical practitioner. Kristina uses cognitive behavioral therapy as her primary method of psychotherapy. This encompasses cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, and exposure therapy. Kristina also utilizes other evidenced based therapy models such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy. For couples and family work, Kristina employs Relational Therapy and The Gottman Method.
Kristina specializes in the treatment of depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, couples and family counseling, relationship concerns, parenting issues, and service-related military (veteran) trauma.
