Fariha Anika (Anika) serves as an outpatient therapist at the Lindner Center of Hope. Anika is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor who provides compassionate, trauma-informed therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families. She is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
Anika specializes in working with individuals experiencing eating disorders, anxiety, mood disorders, behavioral challenges, and life stressors. Her approach is collaborative and personalized, drawing from evidence-based practices while honoring each client’s unique background, values, and lived experiences. She is especially mindful of providing care through a culturally sensitive lens and believes therapy should feel respectful, affirming, and non-judgmental.
In her work, Anika integrates individual, family, and systems-based approaches, including Family-Based Treatment (FBT) when appropriate. She has extensive experience conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and supporting clients through both acute challenges and long-term growth. Anika values working alongside families and support systems to foster sustainable healing and resilience.
Anika brings a strong background in community, residential, and higher-level care settings, which informs her calm, grounded presence and ability to support clients through complex emotional and behavioral concerns. Above all, Anika believes that therapy is a partnership. She strives to meet clients where they are, help them better understand themselves, and support them in building skills that lead to lasting change and improved well-being.
