Taking This Step Takes Courage. We're Here to Make It Easier.
If you’ve found this page, you’re probably asking hard questions — about yourself, about someone you love, or about what comes next. Whatever brought you here, we’re glad you’re here.
Residential treatment at Sibcy House begins with one simple conversation. There’s no obligation, no pressure, and no expectation that you have everything figured out. Our admissions team is here to listen, answer your questions, and help you understand whether Sibcy House is the right fit.
Sibcy House is part of Lindner Center of Hope in Mason, Ohio. We specialize in comprehensive diagnostic assessment and individualized residential treatment for adults navigating complex mental health challenges, including mood disorders, trauma, anxiety and OCD, psychosis, addiction, and personality-related concerns. Many of the people who come to us have been through other treatment before and are looking for something more thorough, more personalized, and more effective.
If that sounds familiar, let’s talk.
Start the Conversation
Fill out the short form below and a member of our admissions team will be in touch, typically within one business day. All inquiries are confidential.
To help us prepare for our conversation, in the message field, feel free to share a few details: the patient’s name, age, location, what’s prompting the reach out, goal for admission and desired timeframe for admission. There are no required fields. Share only what feels comfortable.

What Happens After You Reach Out
Here’s what you can expect from your first inquiry through your first days on campus.
Step 1: You reach out Fill out the form above or give us a call. This first step is simply an introduction: a chance for us to hear what’s going on and for you to ask any questions you have. There’s no commitment involved.
Step 2: Admissions consultation A member of our admissions team will connect with you to learn more about your situation, walk you through the program, and help you think through whether Sibcy House makes sense for where you are right now. We’ll be straightforward with you, and we hope you’ll be straightforward with us.
Step 3: Clinical review Once you’re ready to move forward, our clinical team reviews your history and needs to ensure we can provide the right level of care and support from the moment you arrive.
Step 4: Arrival and orientation When you arrive, you’ll begin settling into the program and getting oriented to campus and daily rhythms. You’ll meet your treatment team in the first day or two, with staff available around the clock to make sure your first days feel calm, supported, and manageable.
Step 5: Discharge planning Planning for what comes next begins early in your stay, not at the end. You’ll leave with a comprehensive written report, a clear treatment plan, and direct coordination between our team and your outpatient providers.
Questions We Hear Often
How long will I be there?
Treatment length varies by individual. The initial assessment phase is typically completed over about 10 days. Many residents choose to continue in residential treatment after that, building on the clarity and stability they’ve developed. The average length of stay is around 25 days, but your treatment is paced to fit your needs and goals, not a predetermined timeline.
Can my family visit?
Yes, and we encourage it. Visitors who support your recovery are welcome seven days a week. Up to two visitors at a time may visit for up to two hours. Visits are scheduled 24 hours in advance. Weekday visiting hours are 5:00–9:00 PM; weekend hours are 8:00 AM–9:00 PM.
What happens after I leave?
You won’t leave without a plan. Every resident receives a comprehensive written report that integrates findings from all disciplines involved in their care: psychiatry, psychology, therapy, and more. With your permission, we’ll coordinate directly with your outpatient therapist, psychiatrist, or other providers to make sure what you learned and gained here carries forward.
What if I need to leave before my stay is complete?
We understand that life doesn’t pause completely. Therapeutic Leaves of Absence are available with treatment team approval and advance notice. If circumstances change and you need to end your stay early, your care coordinator will work with you to ensure a thoughtful transition.
What does it cost? Does insurance cover this?
Sibcy House is a private-pay program, which means it is not billed through insurance. Because treatment length and composition vary from person to person, we share detailed cost information during your admissions consultation; there’s no obligation in that conversation, just transparency. We’re also happy to discuss how families typically approach financing a stay, including HSA and FSA accounts and out-of-network reimbursement options. Our admissions team can walk you through what that looks like for your situation.
How do I refer a patient?
Information for clinicians looking to refer a patient to Sibcy House can be found on our referrals page.
Ready to Take the Next Step?
You don’t have to have everything figured out to reach out. The first conversation is just that: a conversation.
