Ms. Simmons serves as the clinical manager for residential services at the Lindner Center of HOPE.  Her role incorporates both the adult residential unit (Sibcy House) and the adolescent residential unit (Williams House).

Ms. Simmons earned a Master of Social Work degree at the University of Kentucky and is currently a doctoral candidate working toward the completion of her PhD at the University of Kentucky.  Her research is in the area of bullying.

Sharon has over twenty years of experience in the human services field in both the academic and clinical realms.  Prior to joining Lindner Center of HOPE, she worked for Diamond Healthcare Corporation as a program director for an intensive outpatient program (IOP) located in Cadiz, Kentucky.  She continues to teach as an adjunct professor for Brescia University where she teaches a variety of social work courses, including research, practice and ethics.
