Our dream is to make people healthy enough to follow theirs.

Adult Treatment Options

At Lindner Center of HOPE, adult treatments focus on the person instead of simply symptoms. We offer a broad spectrum of psychiatric treatment programs led by compassionate, multidisciplinary care teams. With individualized, evidence-based treatment, patients are able to recover from mental illness or addiction and lead stable, healthy and happy lives.

Inpatient

Acute Inpatient Care

For patients needing the highest level of care and crisis intervention delivered with compassion and respect, Lindner Center of HOPE has 48 private rooms – three 16-room units – for acute hospital stays. Provider referrers, family members or patients themselves may initiate inpatient treatment. Lindner Center of HOPE accepts most major insurances for inpatient care.

Residential

Williams House

For adults facing ongoing instability with their co-morbid mental health and addiction issues, Williams House at Lindner Center of HOPE offers an intimate and stabilizing residential environment.

Sibcy House

For adults suffering with more complex, co-morbid mental health and addiction issues – including extreme OCD, internet addiction, and crisis coping – Sibcy House provides a specialized and enhanced diagnostic and therapeutic environment.

Outpatient

In many cases, outpatient mental health treatment can be very effective when managing mental illness and substance use disorders. People in outpatient mental health treatment continue to live at home while receiving care.

The first step in treating any illness is thoroughly assessing the array of factors influencing one’s symptoms and overall prognosis. At Lindner Center of HOPE, Diagnostic Assessments help in the determination and differential diagnosis of psychiatric and cognitive conditions.

As leaders in diagnosis and treatment planning, Lindner Center of HOPE clinicians are able to prescribe genetic testing for consenting patients, with the potential to gain a deeper understanding of the impact of medications on an individual.

Wait list times to see an outpatient psychiatrist for an initial session can exceed 12 weeks, leaving patients and families in urgent situations with few alternatives. Our Rapid Access Services (RAS) enables patients to quickly receive outpatient help with symptoms and concerns.

When an adult’s daily functioning is impaired by mental illness, yet criteria is not met for hospitalization, our Adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides intensive treatment in a safe and therapeutic environment without full hospitalization.

For those who struggle with eating disorders, food and mealtimes become a source of fear, panic, anxiety and pain. When full hospitalization isn’t required or traditional outpatient treatment is ineffective, our Eating Disorders PHP and Intensive Outpatient program offer two intermediate levels of care.

To bring about real sober living, underlying issues like mental health disorders must be simultaneously addressed to prevent relapse. Lindner Center of HOPE offers an intensive outpatient treatment option for adults experiencing challenges with substance abuse and/or co-occurring disorders.

Specialized Therapies

Nationally recognized as experts in the treatment of depression, Lindner Center of HOPE offers TMS therapy as an innovative, non-systemic and non-invasive treatment modality for individuals who have tried medications and psychotherapy with little or no success.

Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) is the gold standard for treatment of certain treatment-resistant psychiatric disorders. Lindner Center of HOPE is the area’s leading provider of ECT, offering compassionate and expert care using the latest technology and equipment.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is a well-established individual treatment for borderline personality disorder, substance abuse, bingeing, and other problems which include emotion dysregulation. Research shows that those who have successfully completed DBT programs are more likely to have strong interpersonal relationships, find employment, and stop having thoughts of self -harm.
