Leslie Ann Deckter, MD

Lindner Center of HOPE, Staff Psychiatrist


Dr. Deckter serves as a staff psychiatrist at the Lindner Center of HOPE. She attends to child and adolescent patients in the partial hospitalization program and child, adolescent and adult patients in the outpatient setting.

Prior to joining the Lindner Center of HOPE, she completed Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, where she served as the Chief Fellow in her final year. Her Adult Psychiatry training was completed at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.

She has special interest in the treatment of disorders of childhood and adolescence, especially post-traumatic disorders as well as treatment of children of international adoption. She has received training in a variety of psychotherapy modalities, including play therapy, CBT and psychodynamic psychotherapy.
