John Mallery, LISW, Supervisor, has more than 29 years of experience in the addictions field with the most recent 16 years in behavioral health administration. His interest in treating addictions began while volunteering at a residential therapeutic community in Europe where he assisted with developing a health and wellness program for persons with substance use disorders. He quickly learned the devastating effects substance use can have on all walks of life. After returning to the United States he pursued his education in Master of Social Work at the University of Kentucky with a concentration in addictions. His experience includes all levels of care for substance use disorders from intensive inpatient and residential to intensive outpatient and outpatient.
Since joining Lindner Center of HOPE, Mr. Mallery has played an integral role in the planning and implementation of the expansion of Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Treatment services to include Medication Assisted Treatment at HOPE Center North that opened in 2015.
