Todd N. Palumbo, MD, MBA, brings a unique combination of clinical expertise and administrative insights to Sibcy House at Lindner Center of HOPE. As Medical Director, Dr. Palumbo guides talented multidisciplinary and specialty teams in ensuring accurate diagnosis and individualized treatment programs that are quickly gaining national recognition. Under Dr. Palumbo’s direction, Sibcy House’s exceptional programs remain on the forefront with the latest proven research and evidence-based treatment plans that respond to patients’ evolving needs.

A trusted leader in local mental health
Dr. Palumbo has served as a trusted psychiatric resource for the Greater Cincinnati mental health community. Prior to joining Lindner Center of HOPE, Dr. Palumbo evaluated and treated psychiatric emergency room patients through Psychiatric Professional Services, Inc.; University of Cincinnati Department of Psychiatry; and Cincinnati’s VA Medical Center. Dr. Palumbo has also provided patient evaluations, treatments and medication management in collaboration with therapists at Central Clinic’s Children’s Diagnostic Center and at Talbert House. In addition, Dr. Palumbo has supervised resident psychiatrists in the psychiatric emergency room environment.

Recognized for his professional contributions, Dr. Palumbo was named the Phillip J. Resnick Scholar two years consecutively by the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law (AAPL). He remains professionally involved in the AAPL as well as the American Psychiatric Association. Dr. Palumbo also completed a fellowship with the Institute for Psychiatry and Law, University of Cincinnati Department of Forensic Psychiatry.

Dr. Palumbo’s past experiences have well equipped him to take Sibcy House to the next level in providing distinctive care. He brings a strong vision for progress, insights into family and patient needs and solid professional connections.

As Medical Director, Dr. Palumbo has not only moved Sibcy House forward, but he also continues to improve the lives of patients through passionate care and a hands-on commitment to patient recovery.

His focus on active clinical work expands the reach of Sibcy House. He led the development of a 28-day patient curriculum that combines the best resources for evaluating a patient’s individual needs and creating a personalized blueprint for treatment that supports mental health success. Under his direction, Sibcy House offers a focused value in premier residential treatment unique to the area.

Today, Dr. Palumbo’s vision for Sibcy House includes continuing to build highly qualified teams and state-of-the-art programs that not only impact Sibcy House patients, but also offer great value to the mental health community.
