Sibcy House Social Worker
Stacey M. Reese manages the Social Work, Recreation Therapy, and Spiritual Care departments for Lindner Center of HOPE, providing leadership and ensuring high quality patient care. She also is the primary social worker at Sibcy House, a 16-bed residential unit at Lindner Center of HOPE. For Sibcy House patients, she completes psychosocial assessments, prepares patients for discharge, establishes follow-up care plans, creates individualize patient schedules, and incorporates family and other supports into treatment.
Reese has 10 years of social work experience. Prior to Lindner Center of HOPE, she worked at the University Hospital of Cincinnati as a member of the Mobile Crisis Team. This team responded to homes, shelters, and other locations when called to mental health crises in the community. In this role, she assessed patients in crisis with a goal of establishing the best plan of action for the patient. Reese also has experience working with adolescents with mental illness, having worked as an individual, group, and family therapist for St. Joseph Orphanage.
Reese earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Cincinnati. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Social Work degree from the Ohio State University. She is a licensed supervising independent social worker.
Reese has served on NAMI committees, provided a number of trainings on mental illness for Cincinnati Police Department and other police departments in the area, and is a member of the Society for Social Work Leadership in Health Care.
